Description |
Measure with handle homemade of steamed cow horn and designed for use with small caliber black powder gun. Measure, approximately. 3.75 inch, is cut from tip of horn, with powder cavity at narrower end. Handle made from either lengthwise or spiral cut strip of horn; extending outward from base of measure, it circles back on itself, making loop, twists once more, wrapping around measure and fastened in place with metal screw. Made for right hand use, it will accommodate gloved hand. Measure can hold 30-40 gr. black powder or 28 gr.shot for 55 caliber gun and is tapered to insert into gun barrel. Used by left handed shooter. |
