Description

Metal cylinder, scored along outside in diamond pattern for gripping. Strip of metal on either side of tube is solidly attached to top of tube and hinged at bottom. Scored tube turns within carriage into bottom until it is gapped beneath top. Center cylinder flips out from carriage to make matches accessible. Top inscription: "MARBLE'S / GLADSTONE / MICH. U.S.A. / PAT'D. 1900". Inside, are 13 wooden matches.
