Description |
Collapsable split-cane surfcasting rod with spare tip and tan canvas storage sack. Varnished. Red linen(?) wrapping. Nickel-plated brass sleeves, heel cap, and reel attachment hardware wraps on all but handle section. A - 43 inches by .875 inch by 1.25 inches. 19-inch rattan handle section, one eye. Hardwood under rattan wrap. B - 43.5 inches by 1 inch by .75 inch second section. Male and female sockets, two brass eyes. C - 43.5 inches by .875 inch by .75 inch third section. Male and female sockets on ends. Three eyes. D-E - 43.5 inches by .5 inch by .25 inch tip sections. Identical construction. Male sleeve at lower end. Tip eye. Three eyes on each section. F - 47.5 inches by 7.5 inches by .25 inch tan cotton canvas storage sack. Rectangular. 5.75 inch flap to tie sack closed. Stitched to make five sections for rod pieces. |
