Description

Handmade, wood-handled, hand-wrought log peeling tool. Straight grain wood (fir or cedar?) makes the 2-inch diameter, 67"-inch handle. Handle bound by wrought ring at lower end of tool. Blade riveted to two bars inserted into lower end of handle. Metal bond secures this fitting. Blade 5 inches by 9.75 inches overall with slight curved shape.
