Description

Brown nylon down-filled mummy style sleeping bag (A). 30.0 inch metal zipper runs down the top of bag; set into bag with cotton twill tape. Two pairs of 20.0 inch twill straps sewn into seam at foot of bag.3.0 inch letters stamped on foot of bag. Unrolled dimensions:. 6.0 inch by 30.0 inch by 80.0 inch
Inscription: "U.S."
Dark green rubber(?) coated canvas cover (B) with two pair of 25.0 inch. twill straps. Cover cut and sewn to fit around rolled sleeping bag (approximately 38.0 inches. by 40.0 inches.) White cotton tag sewn into it. 3.0 inch letters stamped on inside of cover.
Inscriptions include dates in 1932 and 1942 on tag.
