Description

Black leather covered cardboard suitcase. Leather handle with brass plated iron connecting pieces. Brass and brass plated iron latches w/ keyholes. 4 black metal foot caps. Leather hinge stitched with cotton thread. Interior line with pale green moire taffeta with water-marked embossed design, likely rayon. Gathered pocket in lid. Fabric straps hold lid upright when case is open. 2 stiffeners under green lining on top and bottom of case.
Inscription: 0.5 inch high numbers imprinted into back exterior of case: "22" / "8882"
